Rachel Zoe is taking her shoe obsession up a notch—by collaborating with Brian Atwood to design a shoe line. The pair, who reportedly met dancing on a table in Paris early in their careers, seem like a great match: Zoe claims that all of her clients wear Brian Atwood, and that she is his number one cheerleader. Later this month, look for their first creation in stores: an over-the-knee platform boot with chain detail. (InStyle)
This year is the 5oth anniversary of the classic French film Breathless, and Rodarte is paying tribute by designing four T-shirts in its honour. The 1960s Jean-Luc Godard movie starring Jean Seberg is often remembered for the New York Herald Tribune top, which the Mulleavy sisters have re-created, along with three new designs. (Style File)
Twilight star Ashley Greene has just been signed as the new face of Mark cosmetics, following in the footsteps of Lauren Conrad. The 23-year-old actress says that initially she was drawn to the brand because of their products, but was ultimately sold on their message. Avon has just confirmed its latest high-fashion fragrance collaboration with Hervé Léger, the design house owned by BCBG Max Azria and known for its tight-fitting bandage dresses. This fall they will launch both a men’s and women’s fragrance—Hervé Léger Homme and Hervé Léger Femme—reportedly designed with the sensuality of the brand in mind. Think spicy, woody scents. (WWD)
